The Closet Doctor Rx team uses high quality 3/4 ” melamine for all of their storage solutions. This is a thicker and stronger material than most “do it yourself” units. All our custom designed built-ins feature adjustable metal closet rods and melamine shelves. This feature allows you to change your closet as your needs change. Most customized closets can be designed with drawers, laundry hampers and closet cabinets if desired.
The Closet Doctor Rx can also accessorize your space with belt racks, tie racks, crown molding, valet rods and much more. The options are endless and our professional designer can guide you through all of your choices. Our drawers and hamper cabinets are constructed as pieces of furniture. They are built with metal ball bearing full extension slides and are finished with mica that best matches the color you choose.
A drawer will take more abuse then a shelf due to opening and closing of the drawer, that is why we use mica. Mica is a stronger laminate and more durable than melamine. Any size can be created to fit your space because we custom build the units in our factory. The drawer face has options such as : flat mica , decorative thermofoil or even Lucite.
The hardware is included in our low price with many different styles to choose from. These upgrades are standard for The Closet Doctor Rx.
